Context
The application needed to support shipping workflows through FedEx, including domestic, international, and multi-package shipments.
Work
Part of the work involved moving away from a legacy WSDL-based integration toward FedEx REST APIs. The integration also had to deal with package information, shipment details, customs data, and differences between domestic and international workflows.
Result
The service supported modern REST-based shipping workflows for several shipment types.
